Dear Professionals Its almost three months now since Dr. T B Rajashekar, erstwhile Associate Chairman, NCSI, IISc, Bangalore, departed from us so unexpectedly. He was a born leader, a great visionary, an excellent teacher, an eminent Scientist, and one of the pioneers of the OAI and Digital Libraries movement in the country. Each and every publication/presentaion of his carries a great wealth of information and knowledge. We should ensure that all his works should be preserved for the posterity. We at NCSI-NET, a professional group comprising of present Students, Project assistants, Alumni and Staff of NCSI, are initiating few projects to carry forward his vision and work. Part of this initiative includes, putting together all his publications, presentations, and course materials. We are working to bring all his works in an online volume or in a CD form. We have already started working on it and collected some his publications from his Personal Computer, NCSI server and from Web. We request you to please let us know if any of you have worked with him in the past in writing a paper, making a presentation and so on. If so, we will get in touch with you in a separate mail indicating the format in which we would like to have the details of your work with Dr. T B Rajashekar. Or, we would appreciate if you could provide us at least the following details: Title of the work, format (pdf, ppt, etc), Source (Conf, journal etc), Co-authors, Year, etc. We are planning to bring out this volume on his Birth anniversary i.e. 2nd November.
