[LIS-Forum] Sad demise of Prof. K.S.Deshapande

Prof.K. S. Deshpande's contribution to the Library Science field  was laudable. His vast knowledge of the field, thorough professionalism and service oriented nature (at the time of no computers and internet!) was extra ordinary!   Especially, he quenched the thirst of the knowledge of the people of  North Karnataka region i.e.. Karnataka University, Dharwar. He was a dedicated professional and a role model to younger generation.   His demise is a great loss to the profession. Let his soul rest in peace.
