Please release the following message to LIS forum ---------- With heavy heart, we inform the sad demise Prof. M.A. Gopinath on 10th February, 2013 in Bangalore. Prof. Gopinath was born on 17th August, 1940. He jointed DRTC as a Lecturer in 1969 and served as Head, DRTC from 1992 till he took voluntary retirement in 1997. Later he served as Visiting Professor at North Carolina Central University. Durham, USA Prof. Gopinath was survived by his wife, a son and a daughter.
