Applications
are invited for the following posts as per the U.G.C. Pay
Scales/Pay Bands:
A. Lecturer in Commerce-01-Permanent-ST;
B. Librarian- 01- Permanent- General;
C. Administrative Officer-01-Permanent-General;
D.JuniorAssistant-cum-Typist-02-Permanent, 1 – General,
1 – OBC;
E. Junior Library & Information Assistant- 01-Permanent-General;
F.Library Attendant-01-Permanent-ST.
Lecturer
in Commerce
Qualification
- Good
academic record with at least 50% marks or equivalent grade
in Master's Degree.
- Candidates
besides fulfilling the above qualifications should have
cleared the National Eligibility Test (NET) conducted by
the UGC, CSIR or similar tests accredited by the UGC.
Note: The candidates having Ph.D./ M.Phil.
Degree in the concerned subject are exempted from NET. Applications
form can be downloaded from our website. Applications form
duly filled in along with certificates and testimonials
(including caste certificate), should reach the undersigned
within 15 days of the publication of this advertisement.
For
Librarian
Essential Qualifications:
- Master's
Degree in Library Science/Information Science/documentation
or an equivalent professional degree with at least 55% of
the marks or its equivalent grade of B in the UGC seven
point scale plus a consistently good academic record..
- Candidates
besides fulfilling the above qualifications should have
cleared the National Eligibility Test (NET) conducted by
the UGC, CSIR or similar tests accredited by the UGC for
those with post-graduate degree. Desirable: The candidate
should have experience in Library computerization.
Notes: A relaxation of the minimum marks
of the PG level from 55% to 50% may be provided to the candidates
who have cleared the JRF examination conducted by the UGC/CSIR
only, prior to 1989, when the minimum marks required to
appear for JRF examination were 50%.; (b).The candidates
having Ph.D or M.Phil Degree in the concerned subject are
exempted from NET.
For Administrative Officer:
- Age:
35 Years. Good academic record plus Master's degree with
at least 55% of marks or its equivalent grade of B in the
UGC seven point scale (5% relaxation in marks for SC/ST
categories). Desirable: At least 3 years experience in supervisory
or equivalent cadre in a group B post in a government department/
University/ Educational or Research Institution / teaching
and/ or Research experience along with proven administrative
capabilities: 1.L.L,B or MBA or CA/ICWA or MCA or M.Phil/Ph.D
qualification.
For
Junior Assistant – cum – Typist
Essential Qualifications:
- A
Senior Secondary (10+2) or its equivalent qualification
from a recognized board/university/institution with at least
50% marks or a Graduate from a recognized University.

Having a typing speed of 40 w.p.m. in English through computer.
Desirable:
1.Degree/Diploma in Computer Application/
Science and knowledge of operation of latest packages relating
to pay roll, accounts, MIS etc.
2. Diploma in Office Management and Secretarial
Practice
For Junior Library & Information Assistant:
Essential Qualification
- Passed
Sr. Secondary or equivalent examination conducted by State
Board of Education/ University/ Govt. recognized institutions.

Certificate in Library Science/Library and Information Science
from a recognized institution.
- Computer
Course at Sr. Secondary Level or Basic Course in Computer
Science/Word Processing from a recognized Institution
For Library Attendant
Essential Qualification
- Matric
or an equivalent examination.
Desirable:
1. Certificate in Library Science/Library
& Information Science
2. Computer as a subject at Secondary
level or Basic Course in Computers from any Institution.
