Dear Friends Just in case you do not know. Google Docs and spreadsheets are a great way to compose documents in a co-operative way. Google spreadsheet NOW allows you compose a form for collecting data for a survey, send the form to your friends via email, have them filled out & submitted via submit link in the form, then have the data go directly into a spreadsheet you have made! Only analysis remains! Even this may be automated. This is a boon to librarians doing all kinds of surveys among their clients.
