Job Opportunities with Tata Consultancy Services Information Resource Centre (IRC)

 

TCS IRC invites applications for positions in Bangalore; Bhubaneswar; Delhi; Hyderabad; Indore and Nagpur. These are regular positions, and selected candidates should be prepared to work in these cities on a long-term basis. Remuneration and benefits are at par with the best in the industry.

 

Job Responsibilities:

• Assisting in the IRC operations, which includes handling the IRC services desk, technical processing, attending to user queries, transactional activities and Information Services
• Promoting Library offerings, conducting outreach activities such as floor-walks, book talks, and other related activities.

 

Eligibility and Requirements

• Candidates from the Academic Batch of 2024 and 2025
• Master’s in Library & Information Science or Equivalent degree (Full-time and regular)
• Consistent academic records Class X onwards with minimum 50%
• Experience to be considered is 0 – 1Yr 11 months only, if relevant. No more than a 2-year gap in education is accepted.
• Age should not exceed 28 years
• Willingness to work in any center within the city with flexible timings
• Ability to work both independently and in a team to deliver results in a constantly changing environment
• Strong communication, info search, customer service skills
• Knowledge of MS Office, Windows, LMS is expected. HTML, SharePoint, and Web-page Management will be an advantage.
• Willingness to learn and upskill on the job
