Simultaneously, it has also opened the plethora of opportunities to the metrics community to compute the impact with much wider indicators. To deliberate the ongoing and future trends in scientific communications a national conference on ?Scholarly Communication and Scientometrics? is being organized between 22-23 November 2019 at Advanced Centre for Treatment, Research and Education in Cancer (ACTREC), Kharghar, Navi Mumbai in association with the Institute of Scientometrics (IoS). The conference aims to empower young researchers on Scholarly Communication Models, Academic integrity, New Trends in Publishing in Scholarly Journals, Publishing Ethics, eLearning, MOOCs, Digital Repositories, Research Evaluation Tools, Scholarly Impact, Big Data, Scientometrics, Role of Social Networks in Science, Altmetrics and many more.
