Dear collegue, Even if the intake is less, the minimum no. of books should be 4000 volumes, because an engineering college library should have minimum facilities of reference for the benifit of the students. You have to add 60 titles per branch X 4 copies. ie if 3 branches in a college, 180 titles X 4 copies. Please note that 180 titles are important but you need not buy 4 copies of each title.
