Lets have a look: Compare with the selection of the IFLA Travel Grants, where only one from India but more than one from other countries. You can also look at the ASIST International Paper Contest, where so far no one held first place where the money involves. But, I appreaciate that more than two papers from India are being selected for best paper every year. Fullbright for Indian professionals in Library and Information Science has closed now. For Commonwealth Fellowship compare to other countries, India has got less number of fellowships.
