Lalithabai (‘Lalitha Lenin’ in literary circles), Reader, Department of Library & Information Science, University of Kerala is completing her ‘Shashtyabdi’(completion of 60 years) in April 2006, and formally laying down office on superannuation on 30th April 2006. She has been serving the Department for the last twenty-seven years as faculty member and as Head of the Department during 1989-93.
