Hi Nivedita, I've heard that IGNOU is going to start a 6-month or 1-year course on Library Automation/Digital Libraries for the library professionals very soon. I'm even told that the course material is ready for that. Being in Delhi, you might be better placed to inform us about any developments in the IGNOU campus! This course that NCSI is offering is about one and half year duration(Information and Knowledge Management) and needs full time devotion on learner's part. If bodies like NISSAT/NISCAIR/NCSI start doing some positive move in this direction, I strongly believe that it is really going to help professional like me who constantly on the look for something new to learn, implement and create/add value to work.
