Dear Friends,
Let us be honest!
Do not we ourselves go quickly go to google. And let us be frank, most
of the times, it serves our purpose. We do not always need a
comprehensive overview of all the [quality] literature available to
answer our query. We do not always need a comprehensive literature
search. Two or three hits answer our query.
Trust, what the users say!!!!
People are breaking free and are becoming self-reliant! They need less
dependency on specialists.
Do not we indulge in Self-Medication?
Earlier we use to lose money through share-brokers. Now we can do the
same ourselves, Online!!.

Colleagues,
The article Shri Sukhdev Singh pointed to is interesting in today's context.
It ends saying "Getting authoritative information sources to potential
users" is the job of Librarians and Libraries, besides so many points in
favour of libraries.
