Emerald launches online bookstore - 27 Jun 2008
Academic
and professional publisher Emerald Group Publishing Ltd.,
Following its recent move into book publishing, Emerald has welcomed new areas
of expertise, such as language and linguistics, sociology and psychology, to
add to its core portfolio of management titles. Bookstore is seen to be a step
further in book publishing, extending the scope of the company’s
publishing avenues and complementing existing journal portfolio and online
products and services. It is viewed as the solution to develop and promote
Emerald’s book portfolio in all subject areas.
For students and researchers, the online facility will fast-track access to key
research, including recent titles such as Qualitative
Research in the Study of Leadership by Karen Klenke; a new edition
of An Introduction to the Physiology of
Hearing by James Pickles; and International
Handbook of Distance Education by Evans, Haughey and Murphy.
Emerald claims to have enjoyed strong growth in recent years as it continues to
publish rigorous and relevant research. It is seeking to actively expand its
portfolio of products and services tailored for the needs of both academic
institutions and corporate organizations across the world.
