there was serious discussion regarding ban of registration to administrative staff for registration to PhD. i discussed this with Prof Devarajan. he told tht it is not exclusive to librarians and the order is issued in general.he already took up the matte or librarians. a committee is appointed by the univ to consider the issue. Prof devarajan being a member of syndicate and also heading this committee is confidant of getting back the facility for librarians.

the effort made by prof devarajan needs appreciation and cheers.
