Apprenticeship*
*Location: *ICRISAT, Patancheru
*Number of vacancies* � *02*
*Eligibility Criteria:*
- Post Graduate in Library and Information Science [only fresher�s]
*Soft skills required:*
- Good communication skills.
- Take initiatives and result oriented.
- Systematic, logical and hardworking.
- Able to interact with different kinds of clients.
*Training Tasks:*
Apprentice would be involved in the following training activities:
1. Get training and hands-on experience on KOHA [Library Open Source
Software].
2. Training on Open Access Repositories , http://oar.icrisat.org and
http://eprints.icrisat.ac.in
3. Training on Data Librarianship.
4. Journal Subscription and subscribed e-journals link checking.
5. Organizing and maintaining library collections through various
technical and administrative functions.
6. Emphasis will be given on Information services, Document Delivery
Service.
7. Circulation activities.
*Nature of position* � Apprenticeship period will be strictly for *01* year
[No further extension]
*Stipend* � Rs. 10,000 per month and Insurance will be provided.
