Dear Professionals, I am doing Ph.D. under the F.I.P scheme of the UGC from June 2005. Now the authorities in the Directorate of Collegiate Education and Higher Education Secretariate are saying that Librarians donct come under Teaching Fellows. As such they have denied another applicant's claim for F.I.P. I fear that my tenure in F.I.P also will be ended by a government order. Please give your opinions and suggestions so that I can manage this situation which may gradually affect others also. I request the authorities of Kerala Library Association to be alert in this matter.
