Due to the constraints imposed by the COVID-19 pandemic situation and the resulting risks for planning and organizing a full-fledged conference with the physical presence of attendees, the organizers decided to go virtual. The conference will be *free of charge* for all the participants and authors. The aim of this conference is to provide a common platform for librarians, researchers, academicians, leaders, information providers, and policymakers to share their experiences, innovative ideas, and research findings more especially on the design and development of public library services. In this endeavor, an international conference on the design and development of public library services seeks those who are eager to promote the development activities, experiences, and ideas in the field of public libraries.
