Dear All, SLA Asian Chapter and NMIMS are pleased to announce a One-day seminar on 'Achieving Professional Excellence' to be held on 4th June Saturday, 2011 from 9 am to 5.30 pm at NMIMS college.
One day seminars organized by SLA Asian chapter offer an excellent forum for the professional exchange of knowledge and skills that has played a key role in your achieving success. We invite presentations/case studies/success stories from the library professionals who have made some difference to their institutes/profession/patrons by using their knowledge and talents.
Please send a one page write up (synopsis) about your presentation which should reach us latest by May 12, 2011. Your content should be oriented towards issues like the problems areas in carrying out library activities and your approach towards solving the problem areas/issues and how you arrived at the solutions which made a difference to your users/services and you professionally, ie. your achievement/success. Based on the content and quality of the papers, our program committee will accept the best papers and a letter of acceptance will be sent to the selected professional.
You can send your synopsis in the word format and email to me (truptee.shah@gmail.com) and dhanashree (dhanashree.date@tcs.com). Please mention your name, address, designation, contact number and email address on the synopsis. Over more than 60 professionals are expected to attend this one day program.
