Earlier Mr A Rajender met sri Ramana Chary requesting him to help in development and effective management of libraries both public and academic.Mr Rajender also met Mr Goud, Parliamentary secretary and impressed upon him to do something for the benefit of the libraries on 11 Feb President along with Mr Rajender Alvala Raj who works for 6 TV met Prof Haragopal, who is associated with the committee related to reforms in education in the State and also reforms in Telangana Public Service commission and recruitment process. we also met sri Allam Narayana, Chairman, Telangana Press Academy.Both of them were briefed about the status of public and academic libraries, we requested them to help in development and retaining the glory of public libraries, we discussed with them about recruitment, problem of cess that is not released to ZGS for book purchase, present conditions of the buildings and book collection. Requested them to use good offices to recruit both public library staff and also academic library staff, we requested them to help public libraries development and services by nominating professionals, and educated people rather than politicians to ZGS and Telangana Granthalaya Parishad.They gave patient hearing and responded positively.
