Dear All, We often subscribe to a number of email forums with a view not to miss out on any significant news/development. Multiple posting of the same news item on different fora is adding to the email clutter. Generally, we can categorise any LIS communication into one of the following groups: 1) Relevant to all LIS professionals 2) Relevant to LIS professionals belonging to a specific group, e.g., corporate librarians, LIS teachers, public librarians, etc. Shall we contribute to reduction in email traffic by: a) posting all emails falling in category 1) and 2) to lis-forum without fail. b) posting all email falling in category 2) to the relevant forum only.
