Dear All,

 

Our friend Dr. G. Krishnamoorthy has taken charge as University Librarian of Anna University (Chennai), one of the leading Technical University in India on Dec. 20, 2007.

 

Earlier, he was the Deputy Librarian of The Tamil Nadu MGR Medical University, Chennai, taking care of the Virtual Library, digitization, etc.

 

He has done his research work under the guidance of Dr. A. Amudhavalli, Prof. & Head, Dept. of Information Science, University of Madras.

 

Dr. Krishnamoorthy has nearly 20 years experience in LIS field.

 

He is an active member of several associations, and also former Treasurer of Madras Library Association.

 

Let us wish him all success in his new job.
