Will there be a session focused on 'open access
self-archiving'?
The President of India has appealed to all to digitise
our libraries, but the progress so far is not very
encouraging. A few LIS professionals have shown that
it is possible to set up institutional archives, but a
large majority seem to be content with their old ways.
IASLIC, as a professional body, should have taken the
lead.
