The KVS intends to make recruitment for teaching posts for its schools spread all over India. Applications are invited in the prescribed format from the Indian Nationals for Teaching posts in the Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan for the years 2007-08 and 2008-09 and for drawing a panel of candidates:
 
Librarian (LIB) : 82 Posts (UR-45,OBC-21, SC-11,ST-5)
  1. Pay Scale : Rs. 5500-175-9000
  2. Age Limit : 35 Years (as on on 15th February, 2008)
  3. Qualification : (i) University Degree in Library Science OR Graduate with one year Diploma in Library Science from a recognized Institution. (ii) Knowledge of Computer Operation. (iii) Working Knowledge of Hindi & English
