2007 Bonnie Hilditch International Science-Technology & Engineering
Divisions Librarian Award
It is time to nominate yourself or a colleague for the 2007 Bonnie
Hilditch International Science-Technology & Engineering Divisions
Librarian Award.
The Engineering Division is now co-sponsoring the Award with Sci-Tech and
the monetary amount has gone up to US $2,000.
This award is presented to a librarian from outside of the United States
and Canada. The purpose of the award is to provide an opportunity for a
librarian from outside the U.S. and Canada to attend the annual SLA
Conference. The award will consist of conference registration, lodging
and airfare, not to exceed US$2000. The 2007 Conference will be held June
3-6 in Denver, CO.
Qualifications are : Be a current member of SLA, preference given to
members of the SLA Science-Technology and Engineering Divisions. Reside
and work outside of the U.S. and Canada, be working currently in a
library, information center, library school or other information capacity,
preferably in the science, technology and engineering areas.
