It was not the case of Kochi city public libraries.Recently I was interacted with known public library librarian told me that what books selects and sending to the libraries will not be much used by public (Dept can take usage statistics to understand) and discussed other issues like digitization, infrastructure, budget etc. Department unless and until up-skill its employees to make effective use to digitized library or any modern technologies implemented, it will become one more failure attempt.
