Interpretation of UGC notification by Dr.Ramesh Gaur is ultra vires. .I
want to know that can any university place directly appointed Deputy
Librarian in 9000 pay grade. There is no provision in UGC notification to
ask somebody after three years to produce 300 score. They get automatically
upgraded to Pay Band Four i.e. 9000.
J N U can not interpret UGC norms as they wish.I once again reiterate JNU
has violated UGC Norms.

To: lis-forum-request@ncsi.iisc.ernet.in, lis-forum@ncsi.iisc.ernet.in Subject: [LIS-Forum] Google Scholar Indexes ICon-AD Records Message-ID: < CADHw_o26iyuAwAmqDhcwt8j+R46yaozTBuAqu5XB8GcZY_jG+g@mail.gmail.com> Content-Type: text/plain; charset="utf-8" Dear all,
We all love our online-presence, of course, for good cause! Is it not really interesting when people find your name and publication details on Google Scholar? Yes, it is! So, here is the reason!
We are indeed happy to inform you that Google Scholar (GS) is indexing bibliographic details of the records archived in ICon-AD http://www.iconad.in/.
This means, GS retrieves 1300+ authors (and other bibliographic details) from ICon-AD, when searched (GS) by author name.
You can search by author name, and GS displays the entry on its page which is archived in ICon-AD. But it is subject to the quality of searches made, records that are indexed so far by GS and hits thrown by the same. Likewise, searches can be made by title (with double inverted commas) and keywords too. All results are being mirrored from ICon-AD. (Note: results to keyword-searches would be vague as lot of hits are usually thrown by GS)
We thank all the conference organizers, project volunteers and authors for making ICon-AD database as one and the only Indian conference-abstracting database.
Best regards,
Santosh C. Hulagabali Project Head, ICon-AD
