We have prepared a near-final draft document titled "Building up a Digital Library with Greenstone: A Self-Instructional Guide for Beginner's" containing simple descriptions and screenshots, to help the new users of Greenstone Digital Library Software 2.72 who have had no chance to attend any workshop (21 pages 665 KB). The document can be used as a handout for one day’s demonstration workshops on Greenstone too. The guide deals with the essential steps on starting a new collection, gathering and enriching documents, designing a collection with search indexes and browsing classifiers (Author, Title & Keywords) and building the collection.
