[LIS-Forum] Online Library Internship

Dear friends, As far as I understand LIS is a professional course which should have compulsory practical training or internship in a library in the last semester of the course. It is absurd and meaningless to have an online LIS internship ? My sincere request is Please don’t make everything online. Dr M Koteswara Rao Former librarian University of Hyderabad

Librarian Guide introduces a one month Online Library Internship for the students who have completed MLISc or pursuing. This internship will provide an opportunity to the students to learn about the library procedures to manage housekeeping operations and also about the different library technologies being used worldwide.

The interested students may register for this internship provided they have completed the MLISc during 2022 - 2024 or are pursuing the same in the current academic year.
