The winner of each award will receive £2,000 (or currency equivalent) to fund their winning research project. In addition to the research fund it is also hoped that once the research is completed its findings can be published in one of Emerald's many excellent library and information studies titles.All that is required is a 2,000-word summary of the proposed research project and a covering letter. Applications should address the dissemination of knowledge with a specific orientation towards benefit for China or South Asia.The main member of the research team must be based in China or South Asia.
