Dear Aman Jha,

 

I agree with you. We should protest the same.

But the question is how our protest will become strong. When we are protesting anything, there must be some result of our efforts.

If it is over with request then it's OK  and if it doesn't, then  I think ILA or some other national / state level library association should lay the blame on Monster.com that they are damaging the esteem of the Library Profession and give the legal notice to stop this sort of advertisement.

 

let's wait for what other professional are thinking on this issue.

Monster.com's recent advertisement in television portraying librarian as a boaring profession is a negative and bad publicity to the profession.
 
We must protest against it and request the agency whosoever to stop broadcasting such ads.
