HI,

Is scanning and uploading “table of contents” of books, say in a Digital Library, a copyright violation? Are there institutions in India – which scans the ToCs and make them available to their clientele as part of the library services?

Are there any special permissions which need to be taken for such a service?  What have been your experiences?

Request your inputs….

Thanks & Regards,

Parinita S
