Information & Official Publications section of the International Federation of Library Associations and Institutions (IFLA)will organize the second international conference of the series titled International Conference on the Convergence of Libraries, Archives and Museums (ICLAM) in October/November 2014 in Delhi. As in the past, ICLAM will again offer the library professionals an opportunity to exchange ideas with professionals from Archives, Museums and other sectors of the knowledge domain. The objective of the conference is to foster a spirit of innovation among the professionals of the knowledge sector. Its focus will be on effective applications of digital technologies for formal and non-formal life-long learning in libraries, archives and museums. The topics will deal with transformative influences of new organizational formations, processes and user services on the existing institutions. The conference will provide a forum to professionals from all the three cultural heritage institutions and other sectors to share their experiences and experiments in their respective fields of activities. This is a conference for the professionals with non-conventional approach and the non-professional enthusiasts who dare to cross sectorial boundaries. The theme is truly inter-disciplinary.
