Dear Professional colleagues

The Mythic Society, Bengaluru, has published books on History, Archaeology, Social Science, Science and allied subjects. The library is the main part of the Mythic Society. A recent scholarly publication is “Prehistoric Foundation of Bharata”, edited by Prof. A. Sundara and Dr Shrinivasa Padigar, published in 2022. Another recent publication is “Early historic Bhone – Vidarba, Maharashtra (excavations 2003-07)”, edited by Deotare B. C., Gurudas Shete, Reshma Sawant, and Satish Naik.  

Additionally, the Society has been regularly publishing an internationally recognised research Journal, entitled "The Quarterly Journal of the Mythic Society," since 1909, one of the oldest in the country. The contributors include eminent archaeologists and historians like John Marshall, Ananda Coomaraswamy, R. Shama Sastry, P.B. Desai, K. Paddayya, David Frawley and Navaratna Rajaram.  

The Mythic Society is a research and academic centre dedicated to researching and studying the culture, history, archaeology, and allied subjects in all their dimensions, and also focuses on and draws from the wisdom of the Indic past.

The library is incharge of the publications, and the publications are available for purchase with a special discount for libraries and interested scholars, and the Journal is available for subscription. Request to find the Catalogue of publications attached and make use of it.
