Dear Sir,
Greetings!
I was also about to write about this to you, Accucoms being the exclusive representative of MIT Press in India.
For any details, please feel free to get in touch with us as we are just a click-away/ phone call from you.
There are some very good subject collections as well including Artificial Intelligence (AI), which have become very popular in Southeast Asia already.
This being library forum, I am not discussing about the commercials here, but we will be glad to support for any requirement for MIT Press ebooks or Journals collections.
Many thanks

Subject: [LIS-Forum] Correction to my earlier post on OA books from the MIT Press
Friends,
First my apologies for posting some incorrect information on the MIT Press books that are available on open access. It was first brought to my attention by Dr Francis Jayakanth. Thank you Francis.
Here is an excerpt from a letter from a senior member of the MIT Press staff:
"There are gated/non-OA books on our MIT Press Direct platform in addition to our open access titles.
If you wish to view just the open access titles that are available on our platform, please visit http://mitpress.mit.edu/d2o_books. That list should update automatically as new OA titles are added.
If you wish to catalog our open access titles and can use MARChttps://direct.mit.edu/books/pages/MARC-records records or KBARThttps://direct.mit.edu/books/pages/KBART to do so, we make those available for direct download on our site. Here they are as well:
* MARC records are available in three formats: .mrchttps://direct.mit.edu/DocumentLibrary/MARC/OA_MITDirect_MRC.zip | .mrkhttps://direct.mit.edu/DocumentLibrary/MARC/OA_MITDirect_MRK.zip | .mrk8https://direct.mit.edu/DocumentLibrary/MARC/OA_MITDirect_MRK8.zip
* KBART Open Access Collection: csvhttps://direct.mit.edu/DocumentLibrary/KBART/MITPressDirect_OpenAccess.zip | txthttps://direct.mit.edu/DocumentLibrary/KBART/mitpr_Direct_OpenAccess.txt
We also work with a number of the major discovery services (Clarivate/ProQuest/ExLibris, EBSCO Discovery Service, and OCLC WorldCat/WMS) to make our open access books available as a collection."
****
In addition, for libraries in India which would like to be participating libraries in the D2O programme, the MIT Press has a special rate (applicable to lower middle income economies according to the World Bank classification.
With best wishes,
