Thanks to Vyasamoorthy, we have come to know how a tension-ridden country respects libraries (see link below). We should send the link to our Corporators and MPs and MLAs. They don't release funds for public libraries; instead the funds meant for libraries are probably diverted to other works and/or pockets. PLease cut and paste this link into your browser to read a fairly long documentation of 108 libraries. Most are managed by Municipal authorities in the public domain. Just a look at those photos would convince that even so called poorly maintained libraries are better than our well maintained libraries!
