Call for Applications: Library Trainee – 2025

Chanakya University Library invites applications from eligible candidates for the position of Library Trainee for immediate joining. This is purely on a contractual basis for six months, which may be extended by an additional six months based on performance.

Eligibility Criteria:

Candidates should have completed their Master’s Degree in Library and Information Science (M.L.I.Sc.) in the academic 2024-2025.
Age Limit: Not exceeding 24 years.

Training Areas:
Selected trainees will gain practical experience in library housekeeping operations, cataloguing, classification, circulation, digital resource management, institutional repository management, and other library services.

Stipend: Rs.25,000 pm (10% TDS will be deducted)
