We are proud to announce the launch of LimSys Enterprise
3.0, a True Web enabled Library Information & Management System.
“LimSys” the Library Information & Management System, is a Multi
User LAN & WEB based, Unicode supported Multi Lingual Library
Automation Software on Windows. LimSys Provides the Complete
Solution for any library Large or Small, for its day-to-day activities. “LimSys”,
the Flagship Product of Renuka Group is Designed and
Developed by Renuka Infotech Pvt. Ltd., a Renuka Group Software Development
Company.
LimSys is
currently available in three versions “LimSys Prof.”
Multi-Lingual Single User & LAN Version (Multi User) on Windows and LimSys
Enterprise is a Web enabled Software.
LimSys Prof.
Multi User can be integrated with MSDE 2000, to make LimSys
Prof. a True Multi-user Software where the Client can not afford to have
any RDBMS such as MS SQL or Oracle, which is a compulsion for other Library
Automation Software. This helps in reducing the Cost of ownership of the Client
and at the same time provide the User a true Multi User environment. However
LimSys Prof. can be integrated with Back End Database Server such as MS
SQL.
"LimSys" Enterprise Ver.3.0 is the Web enabled, Unicode compatible,
Multi-User with Multi-Lingual data entry facility compatible to various
databases such as MSSQL or Oracle for maintaining the Inventory on the
Server. The state of the art OPAC Facility & Member Request Module helps
user to keep in touch with the virtual Library on Web.
"LimSys” supports internationally accepted Library standards such as
MARC21 format for Retro-Conversion and AACR2 for cataloguing & ISO 2709 the
International Library Congress Data Transfer Protocol to Export and Import
of Library Books and Periodical Inventory.
To access "LimSys" Enterprise 3.0 from remote through
the internet, the User will require a dedicated Web Connectivity with a unique
IP Address assigned by their Internet Service Provider. It is how ever
suggested that if the User wants to connect their "LimSys" Server
to Internet, for web accessibility, they must install a Hardware based Firewall
between the "LimSys" Server and Internet.
