Dear LIS Professionals, On behalf of Kohinoor Business School & BKC Knowledge Network I have immense pleasure in inviting you to a one day offline workshop on “Bibliotherapy : Techniques for academic Librarians - A helping Hand Towards Student Community" to be held on Wednesday, 30th March 2022. Bibliotherapy means “Healing with books”. Guided reading sessions are known to have a positive impact on development of personality, inter-personal relationships and empathy. Psychologists regularly use this technique to help their clients deal with mild mental health issues and behavioural problems in their clinical setup. In this workshop librarians will learn about the dynamics of bibliotherapy conducted in environs of the library. They will get to explore the possibilities of collaboration with Psychologists to build a new range of reading services and activities for the benefit of the library patrons. *Objectives of the workshop* 1.
