Mahatma Gandhi University’s Open Access Theses Archive has been selected as a best web resource by the INTUTE.<br />
INTUTE is a consortia of UK’s Joint information Systems Committee (JISC),and the Arts and Humanities Research Council (AHRC) <br />
The INTUTE evaluated the software, content and various other technical aspects of the database before including the MGU Online theses database in their portal. This is the only Indian archive of PhD theses included by the INTUTE.It is a boost for the Open Access movement in India.<br />

Congratulations to Dr R. Raman Nair who took the initiative in creating and uploading this full text thesis database. He has proved to be a successful University Librarian. Dr Raman Nair has his modest beginning in the profession as a librarian in the Trivandrum public library and later served in various colleges in Kerala. We can be proud of this achievement of Dr Raman Nair.<br />
