Dear Colleagues, We are pleased to inform that access to selected e-resources through the INDEST-AICTE Consortium for around 300 institutions who had applied in response to the advertisement released by the AICTE in Feb., 2006 has commenced from Sept. 2006 onwards. The publishers of e-resources have sent messages directly to the subscribing institutions as well as to the Consortium regarding access to e-resources. The subscribed e-resource are IP enabled on the IP addresses communicated to us. In cases, where institutions do not have static IP addresses, login ID and password have been communicated to institutions directly by the publishers / their agents. We have however, found that several institutions have either not given their email addresses or the emails addresses are incorrect. The INDEST website has a searchable interface for all its members including 300 new members who have joined the Consortium under the new INDEST-AICTE Scheme. All members are requested to search the membership database and ascertain their contact addresses including emails. This will enable us to communicate with our members effectively.
