Dear Colleague, JSTOR is one of the most heavily used and widely respected research and teaching resources of scholarly peered reviewed journals world-wide. At present more than 300 higher education institutions in India have access to archived journal content and the participant base is rapidly growing. To provide an opportunity to learn more about the Indian Higher Education Community and for the community to learn about JSTOR, JSTOR will be holding three free regional forums this October. This is JSTOR’s third annual event of this kind co-hosted with INFLIBNET. These events will provide opportunities to learn more about the growing set of resources available on the JSTOR platform, eBook acquisition models, and preservation services for electronic resources. In addition, presenters will discuss the ways in which usage analysis and discovery services impact library resources and acquisition decisions.
