Dear Members, There seem to be some confusion about the continuity of the LIS-Forum discussion list amongst some of the members. In my posting about the closure of NCSI, all that I had said about LIS-Forum was that there is a possibility that the LIS-Forum service could be administered from a different institute/organization. I haven't said anything about shutting down the list. Let me reassure all the members that the service will NOT be stopped, but there is a possibility that the service provider may change. Some institutions/organizations have already offered to continue the lis-forum service from their domains. I would like to thank all such offers. However, for the present, the list will continue from IISc domain and I'll keep you posted when it is time for the continuity of the LIS-Forum service from a different institution/organization.
