Stipend                                                             :  Rs. 4000/-

Duration                                                            : One Year

Date of Interview (for qualified candidates only)   : August 23, 2008 (Time: 2.00 PM)

Date of Result Declared                                  : August 23, 2008 (Time: 6.00 PM)

Components of training                                  : Advanced training in Library   Classification & Cataloguing System, Automated Circulation System, Digital Library Information System, Information Management & Services, Information Retrieval and Dissemination, etc. 

Candidates fulfilling the above requirements may send their applications in the prescribed format (see www.nitrkl.ac.in) along with xerox copies of all certificates addressed to the Professor In-Charge Biju Patnaik Central Library, National Institute of Technology, Rourkela-769008, Orissa on or before 15th August 2008.  Apprentices would be expected to work on any of the two shifts including night shifts (up to 10.00 PM), Saturday, Sunday and holidays.  Hostel accommodation may be provided if available. Note:

The Institute will have no obligation to absorb the Apprentices on completion of the Apprenticeship. Apprentices will be relieved at the end of the training.
