Prof Kaula passed away on August 30, 2009 around at 12.00 noon due to cardiac arrest. The sad demise of Prof Kaula is a great loss for the LIS profession. He was a life member of IASLIC and was associated with different activities of. IASLIC. With his guiding comments and suggestions IASLIC has been enriched its services in different aspects.
