"Librarianship" is a Life-Style, rather than being just a "job" that can earn us some money so that we can meet the ends for living! ......It is a "service" that requires dedication and continuous upgradation of our professional knowledge, skill and expertise.... so that we are ever competent to provide with the right information at the right time to the right person, irrespective of the nature of the organization we are serving, the nature of our clientele and their varied interest and need, nature of the information flow and information use.... And, all these actually are not a matter of joke! All these require accomplishment.... and, it is our own responsibility to change the general view of the society regarding our profession.... we cannot blame others, but ourselves, only ourselves......!!
