Speaker’s Bio :

Dr. Arun Gowda (MBBS) is a specialist in Business and Competitive Intelligence, Pharmaceutical/ Healthcare Market Research, Patient Health Education, Scientific and Marketing Content Management, and Pharmaceutical Consulting along with exposure to the clinical and research sectors of the healthcare domain. He has worked with technical analysts for effective deployment of information/content to globally leading pharmaceutical clients. Presently Dr. Arun is the Global Product Manager for Healthcare with Emerging Market Services Unit of Nokia. 

 

Mr. Arjun Thomas is a Sr. Consultant at the Knowledge Management Office at Dell Perot Systems where, he is responsible for the organizations internal knowledge management platforms as well as client services in the Knowledge Management, Enterprise 2.0 and MOSS 2007 space. Arjun is a specialist in Knowledge Management and Enterprise 2.0 areas focused on their execution strategies and technology solutions for IT and BPO sectors.

 

Abstract of the talk :  

ECM in Pharma Research Enterprises:  

This talk is about how ECM manifests itself in Pharma Research enterprises. Apart from discussing the key structures and information operations in a typical Pharma Research scenario, Dr. Arun will proceed to take the audience through few case studies that will bring out the ECM activities that are tightly integrated within the standard operating procedures in a Pharma Research setup.

 

ECM in IT Enterprises:

This talk will bring out insights of implementing ECM in large IT enterprises with mature processes aligning to CMMI and other standards. Mr. Arjun will use his own anecdotal experiences and few case studies to discuss the key information and / or knowledge operations in a typical IT scenario.
