Dear Friends,

It is the great news and a matter of pride for all Library and Information community that Prof. V. G. Talwar became Vice-Chancellor of Prestigious University of Mysore. This honor comes to the legend of Library and Information Science after long time even though he deserves it.  On behalf of our professional fraternity, I congratulate Dr. VGT. for his success. I think first person in India belongs to LIS profession occupying this seat. We sincerely hope that the University of Mysore will achieve new heights under his dynamic  leadership.
