Qualification: (i) Degree from a recognized University and (ii) Bachelor's degree or equivalent diploma in Library Science of a recognized University / Institute.
Experience: Minimum three years experience for the post of Senior Technician (Library) and five years for Senior Library Information Assistant in a Library / Computerization of a Library. One year certificate in computer application from a recognized institution is desirable. For the post of Junior Technician (Library) in addition to the above qualification, he/she should have underwent one year apprenticeship in Library.
Age: Upper Age limit 32 years for Sl. No. 1 and 27 years for Sl. No. 2 & 3. For SC/ST/OBC relaxation in age would be admissible as per Central Government Rules.
