Dear friends, It is a matter of great importance and significance that our colleague, Mr. S.L. Faisal has been recognised for his innovative and path-breaking work in the field of school libraries. This is an area which is not given much attention even by our own library professional group, I feel, so an award like this is an eye-opener to all that such good work is being done in the critical and all-important realm of school libraries.
