Undoubtedly, NewGenLib has moved several steps ahead in making the software not only functionally excellent but also especially suitable for the not unpeculiar Indian needs, the support team has shown exceptional committment to resolving problems faced by many of its users in India and overseas. What is even more remarkable is that NewGnLib has done all this without a modicium of support from any governmental or quasi-governmental agency. In any other country, the team would have got considerable encouragement,and financial and infrastructural support. On the other hand bodies such as Universities think that a small company can be bullied into submission. I know this because when I was closely associated with the software, I had to deal with some of these Mahashayas (librarians included). I am no longer associated with the software today as closely as before, but still do provide them with leads that might help. I am extremely proud of the team and its continued committent.
